ASK-TongFang has been promoting the applications of RFID in sports events, the so
callled E ticket. The E ticket, which consists of a RFID inlay embedded inside paper media, facilitates
quick checking, and verification of the ticket as well as position tracking for ticket holder and ticket
management.
At the heart of the E ticket is a RFID chip with memory capacity. The chip and customised antenna
designed form the inlay. The E ticket is the inlay laminated in paper ticket media.
The RFID based E tickets are replacing the traditional tickets due to its unique
characteristics: large memory capacity, reading/writing from different angles and distances, convenence in
verification, long life, light weight, small size in each dimension, easy to carry, security, insusceptible
to magnetism, static charge and interference.
